Between the IOS router to the UCM there will be a trunk  and it can be :
SIP
H.323
MGCP
If it is MGCP there are no dial peers or  PRI or BRI
If it is T1 CAS /E1 CAS or FXO FXS then it deos need to be a dial peer, but the only thing you need to configure is the mapping of that port to the protocol MGCP, there is no actuall destination pattern, incoming called-number.
